FEARLESS (1)
DO NOT BE AFRAID
INTRODUCTION
Let us read Matthew 14:22-33. Even though our situation does not look good, or even totally hopeless, do not be afraid! For God is always with us and He is ready to help us.
CONTENT
Some things we can do so we will not live in fear:
To live a life of prayer (verses 22-23)
After Jesus has ministered to the people, healed them, and performed a miracle of multiplying loaves of bread (see Matthew 14:13-21), he goes up the mountain, isolates himself for prayer. It shows us that prayer is an important aspect in ministry and in life.Believe in the Word of God (Job 42:2)
When everything in our lives is uncertain, remember, in God there is certainty, a way out and an answer. For His Word is the answer for us that we should believe (Romans 9:6a).Keep looking at Jesus, not our problems (Psalms 34:6)
If we look at Jesus, our problems cannot affect us.Be bold, fear not and cast away all doubts (Psalm 46:2-3)
Do not be afraid! Jesus oftenly speaks this phrase “do not be afraid” to give enthousiasm and to encourage everyone who is struggling with a problem. For we will never receive God’s promises if our faith is replaced by hesitation or doubts.
CLOSING
If we walk by faith, not by sight, the Holy Spirit will lead us to walk toward miracles, which we will receive.
