INCREASE (3)

INTRODUCTION

If we want to store lots of water, we must have a large container or a huge place (2 Kings 4:1-7).

CONTENT

  1. God uses us, depending our capacity.
God will not use us beyond our capacity.

This is the principle of capacity law, which exists in everyday life and is also related to Bible principles: Just like a bodybuilder athlete will not lift the burden beyond his ability. God also said that He would not test us beyond our means (1 Corinthians 10:13).

  2. Capacity can be increased
In the Bible, God explains that capacity can be increased.  How:

  • Open our heart and allow God to fill our whole heart (Psalm 81:11)

We must open our hearts to His Word whole heartedly and let Him fill our hearts with His Word.  When our hearts are filled with Godly things, the capacity of our heart will increase and enlarge (Ephesians 1:17-20, 23).

  • Be faithful in little things

The parable of the minas (Luke 19). The first servant, produces 10 minas out of 1 mina. And he said to him, “Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very littlehave authority over ten cities”.

We can conclude that whoever is faithful in a SMALL things, he will be entrusted with a BIG responsibility.  The word SMALL and BIG speaks of a measure of capacity and increased capacity.

Without realizing it, the moment they develop their mina, their capacity increased.

  • If we develop all the capabilities we have, however small they are, God will make them big.

  • If we are responsible for small and trivial tasks, God will prepare us for great reliance’s.

  • If we are faithful in the INVISIBLE things (quiet time, prayer, reading the Word, praise and worship), then God will entrust the VISIBLE things.

CONCLUSION

Therefore the capacity will increase if we are loyaldiligent in developing, honest, and responsible
