INTRODUCTION 

Every human wants to maximise all of his potential. Also for us as Christians should also want to increase our abilities so we can serve God and others with all our potential. 

 

CONTENT 

What a Christian or servant of God must have in order to experience an increase and full life:  

  1. A mental breakthrough 
    Do not allow a mental block or stronghold in our minds. It is our laziness that makes it hard to break through this mental block. Laziness does not change us (Proverbs 6:9-11). 

    To experience God’s promise, we must experience a breakthrough, which is to have determination and to act to change (Deuteronomy 30:19). 

  2. Changing in the way we think 
    No matter whether we are a servant of God, a businessman, an employee or whosoever, the main thing to do is to change in the way we think. A housemaid or employee can think like a king, provided that his mental stronghold has been torn down. 

  • We must think like a child of God, namely that we can experience God’s own power in our lives. 

  • Change from something that has become our comfort zone. If not, we will never progress from the ordinary to a higher level (Romans 12:1-2). 

  • When we change our way of thinking, we will be able to distinguish between what is God’s will, what is good, pleasing and perfect for us (Ephesians 4:23, Colossians 3:9-10). 

 

CLOSING 

Do the two abovementioned things and experience the fullness of life (Proverbs 3:5, Romans 1:16-17).
