Dream From God (2)
INTRODUCTION
“HUMBLE OF HEART” (Revelation 3:8).
If we want to see that God will be opening the doors of miracles in our lives, the main condition for this is, that we are humble of heart, in other words, that we place our hope only in the Lord Jesus (Matthew 23:12).
CONTENT
HUMBLE OF HEART IS AN ATTITUDE THAT BRINGS PEACE TO THE SOUL (Matthew 11:28-29).
A tranquil soul is a strong and healthy soul (Proverbs 14:30; 15:13).
Humble of heart prevents people from being guided by negative thoughts, feelings, and desires, which prevent us from seeing God's plan and blind our faith.
If I am humble, I will realize that I do not understand everything and have not yet achieved everything. I don't have solutions or answers to all problems. I try to carry out my duties and responsibilities to the best of my ability and leave the things that I cannot complete to the Lord to complete.
“Lord, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us.” (Isaiah 26:12).
HUMILITY CAN IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE RELATIONSHIP
These characteristics are characteristics that are destroying good relationships.
Being humble does not mean that we lack self-confidence, are afraid of making mistakes or being accused. A person who is humble of heart is always interested and caring about others, he/she always tries to consider others more important.
Isn't it true that a relationship is always closely linked to prosperity/wealth? (Isaiah 60:1-5).
If we have a good relationship with God and each other, our joy/happiness will increase.
HUMILITY ACTIVATES THE POWER OF GOD (James 4:6).
God loves, anoints, and strengthens those who are humble before Him.
A humble person dares to admit his weakness, that is where God gives him strength and power.
A humble person will easily obey the Word and humble himself before the authority, because he is wise and understanding and that makes his words pleasant and a blessing. (Proverbs 16:19-24)
It turns out that humility puts one in a place of honor, because "before honor is humility.” (Proverbs 18:12b).
Bartimaeus, a poor blind beggar in the city of Jericho, was not only poor materialistically, but also poor before the Lord. When the Lord passed through Jericho, Bartimaeus cried with a loud voice, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" (Luke 18:38-39). He called on the Lord to help him who was helpless and asked the Lord to have mercy on him (Luke 18:40-43).
This is the meaning of being poor/humble of heart before God. His humility activated God's power and He changed Bartimaeus' life and future.
CONCLUSION
Let God open our eyes, so we can see God's dreams.
