GOD'S PROCESS (3)
INTRODUCTION
The key to the process of renewal in this life lies in our minds and thoughts, because our thoughts are the center of our action (Ephesians 4:22-23).
CONTENT
In order to be renewed in spirit and mind, we must abandon the old habits that are ruining our lives. So where does change begin?
The change starts from the point of our consciousness.
The point where we become aware of our helplessness, sin, weakness and even damage. Change is something that must come from within. Kyle Idleman says, “The more you don't see yourself broken, the greater the damage will be.” It is a fact that Jesus can only change our character, when we realize our helplessness and brokenness (1 John 1:9).
When the woman came who anointed Jesus' feet with all her sins, when Zacchaeus sought Jesus in his limitations, when David in his deepest regret asked for restoration, when the Samaritan woman honestly admitted her status and her necessities, then God changed their lives.
Each of us naturally hopes that better changes will take place in life.
In fact, our Christian lives will continue to experience better changes, as Paul said. “May you be renewed in the spirit of your mind” (Ephesians 4:23). This is the mentality we must have; our lives will certainly continue to experience a process of change toward the character of Christ.
CONCLUSION
Surrender yourself to the Lord, the Potter, who continues to mold us and make us beautiful.
