EXPERIENCING REVIVAL/BREAKTHROUGH
INTRODUCTION
If Abraham was blessed with a vision of the future (Genesis 12:2), it is also the legacy of the future for disciples of Christ (Galatians 3:29).
CONTENTS
1. Stepping out first, then receiving guidance.
We read about the turning of water into wine in John 2:7-10. The servant stepped out first because of Jesus, then he saw the miracle. Step out because of Him, and the breakthrough will happen.
2. Stay obedient even when we don't fully hear.
Obedience is the key to experience breakthrough or ‘Revival’. The disciples were just waiting in Jerusalem as Jesus told them (Acts 1:14, 2:2-4).
3. Believe even if it is not yet manifested
God knew Abraham had doubts because he didn't see the signs to see his descendants (Genesis 15:1-6).
Just in time, Abraham saw the promise fulfilled (Genesis 21:1-2).
CONCLUSION
Believe that God's promise is fulfilled, all the way to our descendants.
