REVIVAL = MOVING US TOWARDS A CLEAR GOAL [2]
INTRODUCTION
Namarta (sin) means an arrow that is fired but does not reach its target. This is what the devil uses today to bring God's children down, to prevent God's children from reaching their life goals.
CONTENTS
(Continued from Goal 06.04.2025) Philippians 3:1b -14. To run towards God's vision/goal, the following needs to be considered:
1. Enter into the truth of Christ, not our own (Philippians 3:9)
It takes humility to go deeper, to be constantly renewed by the truth of God's word. Don't be ‘stubborn’ about 1 truth, because the devil can use it to bring us down in pride.
2. Know the power of the resurrection (Philippians 3:10)
We can only accept this through fellowship in suffering (like Christ) and to make us focus. Like a vehicle that runs fast without knowing its focus, God will make the vehicle brake with suffering. Respond correctly to every suffering we receive.
3. .Allow God to arrest us (Philippians 3:12)
Pursuing God is easy. We do not pursue a cruel God, who deliberately leaves us when we pursue Him. On the contrary, He will arrest us when we pursue Him. It is not after we have done this and that that God will arrest us, but do your best and God will arrest you.
4. Forget what is behind you (success/failure) and focus on what is ahead (Philippians 3:13)
We cannot run while looking back. Without letting go of what is behind, we cannot look ahead. Look at God's purpose in our lives! Like Lot's wife, that is the end result of people who ‘look back’.
CONCLUSION
WHY SHOULD WE FOCUS ON GOD'S PURPOSE? (Hebrews 11:3)
What God wants to do, we often cannot see with our five senses. To achieve God's purpose, it is necessary to pay attention to our every step, to know God's purpose every day. If we have received a vision, be careful with the steps to achieve it. Don't miss out on what God is doing. What God is doing is great, make sure we focus on it every day.
