REVIVAL RESTORES JOY

INTRODUCTION

Psalm 126:1-3

When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad.

 

CONTENTS

  1. God's restoration work is not only beautiful but unimaginable

    Example: How the Israelites were trapped and drought-stricken, but God turned it around in a mighty way. They found water and triumphed over their enemies (2 Kings 3:15-18).

  2. God's restoration brings great joy

    Example: How God made a great victory (2 Chronicles 20:26-28).

  3. God's restoration led others to believe.

    Example: How Peter, who was timid, now boldly preached the gospel and 3000 people were baptised that day (Acts 2:14-41).

     

CONCLUSION
